Canucks Prepare for Game 2 of Stanley Cup Playoff Series

Zadorov Scores Game-Tying Goal in Game 1

Kesler Returns to Rogers Arena

Vancouver, BC - The Vancouver Canucks are set to host the Nashville Predators in Game 2 of their Stanley Cup playoff series on Wednesday night. The Canucks are coming off a 4-2 victory in Game 1, in which defenseman Nikita Zadorov scored the game-tying goal in the third period.

Ryan Kesler, a former Canuck who won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2011, will be in attendance at Rogers Arena to support his former team. Kesler, who now plays for the Anaheim Ducks, has been a vocal supporter of the Canucks throughout the playoffs.

The Canucks are expected to welcome a full capacity crowd for Game 2, as Rogers Arena doors will open at 5:30 pm. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats.

The Nashville Predators are led by forward Filip Forsberg, who has scored two goals in the series. The Predators also have a strong defense, led by goaltender Juuse Saros.

The Canucks will need to continue to play with the same intensity and energy they showed in Game 1 if they want to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Puck drop for Game 2 is scheduled for 7:00 pm PT.
