Cate Blanchett and Kevin Hart to Star in Borderlands Movie

Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana Greenblatt Join the Cast

Cate Blanchett and Kevin Hart are set to star in the upcoming Borderlands movie, Lionsgate announced today. The film is based on the popular video game franchise of the same name and will be directed by Eli Roth. Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana Greenblatt have also joined the cast.

Blanchett will play the role of Lilith, an outlaw who forms an alliance with a team of misfits to find the missing daughter of the most powerful man in the universe. Hart will play the role of Roland, a former soldier who is now a member of Lilith's team. Curtis will play the role of Dr. Patricia Tannis, a scientist who is obsessed with finding the Vault, a legendary treasure that is said to contain the secret to the universe. Greenblatt will play the role of Tiny Tina, a young explosives expert who is also a member of Lilith's team.

The Borderlands movie is scheduled to be released on August 7, 2024.
