Bridgeton, NJ - The Bridgeton Police Department is seeking to identify a woman who climbed over the wooden fence surrounding the tiger enclosure at Cohanzick Zoo.
According to police, the incident occurred on July 19, 2023. Surveillance footage captured the woman climbing over the fence and approaching the tiger.
The woman began enticing the tiger and almost got her hand bitten. She then jumped back over the fence as the tiger paced back and forth.
Climbing over any fence at the zoo is a violation of the city ordinance.
